With GAGgroup, I curate and produce concert series focusing on the alternative music scenes of China and the Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam, my work centers on avant-garde music, performance art, and indie rock. I have introduced bands like Zhaoze, Fazi, and Carsick Cars to European audiences and organized showcases at major industry events like SXSW in Austin.
A key part of my work is the Alternative Chinese New Year, an annual event I launched in 2016. It has grown into a sold-out celebration where Dutch and Chinese artists perform alongside each other. To date, I have realized over 35 concert series, collaborating with partners such as the label Maybe Mars and the Performing Arts Fund.
